Condition: For Parts / Not Working (Stuck in Factory Reset Loop)Selling a 2023 / 2024 Hasbro Furby Special Gold Glam Edition found second-hand. Visually, the toy is in great physical cosmetic shape—the white fur is clean, fluffy, and free of stains, the battery compartment has no corrosion, and the golden faceplate looks excellent.The Issue:The physical contact circuit underneath the forehead heart gem is unresponsive. I performed a hard reset on the toy, which successfully triggered the hardware test (the ears turned red and it made a beep sound), but the software is now permanently stuck in its initial factory setup mode. The heart gem blinks yellow waiting for a physical button press to initialize, but because the internal switch is broken, it cannot register the click and advances no further.Because it is stuck in this setup loop, the tongue sensor and other interactions are currently locked out until the heart button trace is fixed.Perfect for:Furby Customizers: Great clean fur and shell body for an "oddbody" or custom plush project.Toy Repair Techs: If you are comfortable skinning the plush and cleaning the faceplate solder joints/bridges, this is an excellent, low-risk restoration project.Parts: Salvage the ear LEDs, battery terminals, or gold plastic faceplate components.Ships quickly from a smoke-free home.
