For your consideration is a stunning, rare vintage evening minaudière by renowned American designer Rafael Sanchez. Known for his sculptural, organic designs carried in Bergdorf Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue, Sanchez’s pieces are highly collectible wearable art (with examples held in The Met Museum's permanent collection).This statement piece is crafted from a vibrant, cherry-red lacquered woven rattan/straw in a classic circular hard-shell silhouette. It features a long, matching braided cord shoulder strap perfect for crossbody wear, a handmade loop-and-knot toggle closure, and a dramatic, oversized statement tassel hanging from the bottom. The interior features the authentic stitched "Rafael Sanchez" black fabric label.Measurements:Diameter: 5 inchesDepth/Width: 2 inchesStrap Drop: Long crossbody length (see mannequin photo for scale reference)Condition:Beautiful vintage condition.
