Up for sale is a stunning, beautifully handcrafted contemporary studio pottery teapot from 2010. This piece is a wonderful example of agateware (also known as the nerikomi technique), where contrasting white and terracotta clay bodies are layered and wedged together to create a striking, integrated marbled swirl pattern throughout the body, spout, and lid.This is a true artisan piece featuring a wonderfully textured coiled spout, a hand-twisted clay handle, and a uniquely sculpted finial on the lid.
