An authentic piece of Cold War history, this genuine 1976 West German Bundeswehr army parka is built like a tank. Made from ultra-dense, heavy-duty olive drab cotton moleskin, it is designed to be highly wind-resistant and durable.This is a complete winter-ready set featuring the original outer shell manufactured by Textilwerk Humme (dated 1976) and its original, fully detachable button-in diamond-quilted insulated liner manufactured by Striwa. Styled with a fixed hood, button-down storm flap, adjustable waist drawcords, dual buttoned chest pockets, two handwarmer pockets, and the iconic German flag patches stitched onto both shoulders.Official NATO Size: 7080/9095 (Designed to perfectly fit a person between 170–180 cm tall with a 90–95 cm chest / approx. 36" to 38" chest). Note: Military outerwear runs roomy to allow for under-layering.Good Vintage Condition. The parka shows authentic character and distressing, notably heavy fraying along the edges of both sleeve cuffs (as pictured).
