Vintage Voice of Music (V-M Corporation) Model 210 “Playtime” portable suitcase-style record player manufactured in Benton Harbor, Michigan, USA. This classic mid-century American record player features a four-speed turntable capable of playing 16, 33, 45, and 78 RPM records. The original cabinet retains its attractive red and gray finish with original “Voice of Music” and “Playtime” branding. The unit powers on and produces a humming sound, indicating electrical activity. However, the platter does not rotate when powered on. No additional testing has been performed. Due to age and unknown internal condition, this record player is being sold for restoration, repair, parts, or display purposes. The original tonearm, cartridge, platter, power cord, speed selector, and carrying handle are present. The interior lining remains attractive for its age. The front speaker grille cloth has a noticeable tear and the cabinet shows scratches, scuffs, discoloration, stains, and general age-related wear consistent with decades of use and storage.
