Vintage Thermos Model 2585 chrome insulated coffee carafe manufactured by The American Thermos Bottle Company in Norwich, Connecticut, USA. This classic Mid-Century Modern coffee server features a polished chrome finish, original clear lucite handle, and original black lid. A beautiful example of 1950s American kitchenware that displays well in a vintage kitchen, MCM collection, or Thermos collection. The base is clearly marked: Thermos Model 2585 Uses Filler No. 585F Made in Norwich, Connecticut, U.S.A. The American Thermos Bottle Co. Features: Vintage Thermos coffee carafe Model 2585 Chrome-plated exterior Original clear lucite handle Original lid included Mid-Century Modern design Made in USA Approx. 9 inches tall Weight approximately 2 lb 12 oz Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition.
