Vintage hand-hammered metal wall plaque featuring a hunting pointer dog in raised relief mounted on a wooden backing panel. The artwork depicts a classic sporting dog in a field scene and has a rustic lodge or cabin décor appearance. Overall plaque measures approximately 12” x 7”. The metal relief panel itself measures approximately 8” x 6”. The plaque is constructed from a thin hand-worked metal sheet attached to a wood backing with decorative metal tacks. The handmade nature of the piece contributes to its unique texture and character. Condition is vintage pre-owned. The metal surface displays scratches, scuffs, oxidation spots, minor dents, waviness, and handling wear consistent with age. The wooden backing has edge wear and finish loss around portions of the perimeter. Please note: there is a small tear/split and crease in the metal near the upper right corner attachment point, visible in the photographs. The area also shows minor bending/deformation. This condition issue has not been repaired and is reflected in the listing photos.
