(Yonkers, New York, USA)Model: Superex ST-M Stereo Audio HeadphonesEra: Late 1960s / Early 1970sAesthetic: High-quality industrial gray design featuring heavy-duty, aviation-pilot style adjustable dual-rail spring-tension headband steel forks for an authentic retro look.Connectivity: Original thick heavy-duty cord with a standard vintage 1/4" audio jack plug.Detailed Condition Notes for Collectors:Functionality: WORKING. Tested on a vintage tape recorder. Both channels produce sound, offering a true, nostalgic retro stereo audio experience (please expect authentic vintage sound characteristics, not modern high-fidelity clarity).Headband: The original soft outer foam padding on top of the headband is missing. There are remaining glue/foam texture traces on the plastic surface from where it used to be.Internal Speaker Foam: The original internal foam layer inside the speaker/driver area has degraded due to age. It is crumbling, and small pieces of old foam dust/particles are coming out from the inside of the earpieces. This is extremely common for 50+ year old headphones.Metal Elements: The steel forks and spring mechanisms have a beautiful vintage patina, showing minor surface spots, light oxidation dots, and small age-related scuffs.
