Vintage Silvertone soprano ukulele believed to date from the late 1950s to early 1960s. This classic four-string instrument features genuine mahogany construction, original Silvertone branding, original friction tuning pegs, and the original Genuine Mahogany label on the reverse side of the headstock. The ukulele measures approximately 22 inches overall, with a body measuring approximately 12 inches long and 7 inches wide. It remains in good vintage playing condition and produces a warm, pleasant tone. The instrument displays normal cosmetic wear from age and use, including minor scratches, scuffs, finish wear, a small finish chip on the headstock, and a small white cosmetic mark on the side edge of the headstock. No major cracks, structural repairs, or body separations were observed. A wonderful vintage instrument for collectors, musicians, display, studio décor, or anyone seeking an authentic mid-century Silvertone ukulele. A small loose red felt piece found with the instrument is included as shown. The purpose and originality of this piece are unknown and it may have been used as a string mute by a previous owner.
