Beautiful vintage Japanese porcelain covered bowls featuring vibrant peacock and floral decoration with gold accents. These traditional covered bowls were commonly used for serving rice, soup, or small dishes and also make an attractive display piece. The set includes two matching bowls and two matching lids. The colorful hand-decorated design features blue peacocks, floral motifs, and gold detailing in a classic mid-century Japanese style. One lid has several small chips along the rim, which have been photographed and reflected in the price. The bowls themselves are free of cracks and repairs.
