Beautiful pair of vintage women’s black leather lace-up boots, estimated to date from the 1930s–1940s based on their construction, original leather soles, and vintage Cat’s Paw heel lifts. The boots retain their original leather soles stamped: American Special The Jeffrey Manufacturing Co. Cincinnati, Ohio They also feature original Cat’s Paw heel lifts, a premium American heel brand widely used on quality footwear during the first half of the 20th century. The actual boot manufacturer is unknown. Interior marking reads 3½ E and 8046. These boots appear to have been lightly worn and carefully stored for many years. The leather remains soft and flexible, the soles are secure, and the heels show minimal wear. Condition details: • Original leather uppers in very nice vintage condition • Leather soles remain firmly attached • Original Cat’s Paw heels with very light wear • One inner leather tongue deteriorated due to age and is no longer present • Second inner leather tongue has a tear but remains attached • Minor age-related scuffs and storage wear • Please examine all photographs and the included video carefully before purchasing.
