Vintage 1962 Mattel Tiny Chatty Brother talking doll by Mattel, measuring approximately 15 inches tall. This classic 1960s talking doll still retains its original blue romper and matching cap. The doll has bright blue sleep eyes that open and close properly and is a wonderful display piece for collectors of vintage Mattel dolls. Back marked: “© 1962 Mattel, Inc., Hawthorne, California” with Canadian patent information. The talking mechanism is working at the time of listing. A video demonstrating operation was recorded before listing. Because this is a vintage mechanical/electronic toy over 60 years old, future performance cannot be guaranteed. Condition The doll is in good vintage cosmetic condition with honest age-related wear. Please read carefully: Talking mechanism is working. Sleep eyes open and close properly. Original outfit and matching cap included. Original pull ring is present. Hair shows normal vintage wear and could benefit from additional styling. Age-related flaws include: Noticeable uneven discoloration of the vinyl. One side of the body and limbs is darker/yellower than the opposite side from age and long-term light exposure. Small white paint/chip mark on one lower leg. Missing one original front button on the romper. Small tear/open seam on the back of the romper. Light discoloration/soiling on the white front panel of the outfit. Minor scratches, marks, and wear consistent with age and normal vintage use. Please enlarge and review every photograph carefully, as the photos are an important part of the description and accurately represent the item’s cosmetic condition. This is an original 1962 collectible doll, not a modern reproduction.
