Vintage J. L. Prévost Botanical Floral Print – SZL No. 506 – Oval Framed Charming vintage botanical floral print featuring a bouquet of roses, morning glories and other flowers after the work of French floral artist J. L. Prévost (Jean-Louis Prévost). The print bears the J. L. Prévost printed signature near the bottom, along with the SZL mark and registered trademark symbol. The lower edge is marked “NO. 506.” Presented under glass in an attractive oval dark burgundy/brown frame with gold-tone decorative detailing around the inner border. The frame retains its vintage backing and hanging hardware. Approximate overall dimensions: 10.5” high × 8.5” wide. Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition with visible age-related character. The paper has overall toning/patina, scattered spotting/foxing and minor marks consistent with age. There is some wear, scuffing and loss to portions of the gold-tone detailing on the frame. The rear backing shows discoloration, spotting and general age-related wear. Glass appears intact. Please enlarge and carefully review all photos for exact condition, coloring, markings and details. Photos are considered part of the description. This is being offered as a vintage decorative reproduction/print, not as an original J. L. Prévost painting or antique original botanical engraving.
