Vintage Leonard Genuine Pewter Weighted Candlesticks – Pair – Made in Bolivia Offered here is a pair of vintage Leonard candlesticks marked on the underside: WEIGHTED Leonard GENUINE PEWTER MADE IN BOLIVIA Classic tall traditional form with flared bases and decorative turned-style stems. The aged pewter surface gives the pair an attractive vintage appearance. PLEASE NOTE CONDITION CAREFULLY These are pre-owned vintage pieces and are being sold in their current, as-found condition. Both candlesticks show visible age- and use-related wear, including scratches, scuffs, dark spots, discoloration/patina, marks, and other surface imperfections. The upper candle cups/drip pans are noticeably bent, misshapen, and uneven. This is especially visible when viewed from the side and above. There is also wear and residue around the candle openings. The bases and stems have additional scratches, spots, marks, and surface wear consistent with previous use and age. No attempt has been made to professionally restore or polish the candlesticks. They have not been altered to correct the bent upper portions. Measurements Approximately 8.5 inches tall. Please refer to the measurement photos for additional dimensions. Measurements are approximate and may vary slightly depending on where they are taken. Material / Construction Marked “Genuine Pewter.” The bases are also specifically marked “Weighted,” indicating that the bases contain additional weighting material. Therefore, the total weight of the candlesticks should not be interpreted as the weight or purity of the pewter itself. Included Two (2) Leonard candlesticks only. Candles and any other display items are not included. Important Buyer Information Please examine ALL photographs carefully before purchasing. The photos show the actual pair being offered and are an important part of the description, particularly regarding the bent/uneven candle cups, surface wear, patina, scratches, spots, and other imperfections. Vintage items may have additional minor signs of age or use that are difficult to capture individually in photographs. Color and surface appearance may vary somewhat depending on lighting, reflections, camera settings, and your screen. No representations are being made regarding the exact date of manufacture beyond the item’s vintage attribution. Sold as pictured and described.1562
