Vintage Realistic Dynamic Microphone — Cat. No. 21-1172 Vintage Realistic dynamic microphone originally sold by Radio Shack, a Tandy Corporation company. Marked on the microphone: REALISTIC DYNAMIC MICROPHONE CAT. NO. 21-1172 RADIO SHACK A TANDY CORPORATION JAPAN Features a coiled cord, round 5-pin male connector, side push-to-talk style control, and mounting button on the back. IMPORTANT CONDITION / TESTING INFORMATION This is a vintage electronic item and has NOT been tested because compatible equipment was not available. Functionality is completely unknown. The microphone and cord show considerable cosmetic wear from age and previous use. The coiled cord has visible surface discoloration, residue/oxidation-like appearance and age-related deterioration. The microphone housing has scratches, scuffs, marks and general surface wear. Metal components and connector also show age/use wear and tarnish/oxidation. No attempt has been made to internally inspect, repair, restore, or service the microphone. Because it is untested, this item is being sold AS-IS for parts, repair, restoration, display, or collection. No guarantee of operation is expressed or implied. Compatibility has not been verified.
