Vintage Fashions by Margolin Red Leather Structured Handbag Beautiful vintage Fashions by Margolin handbag, believed to date from approximately the 1950s–1960s. The bag features a classic structured mid-century silhouette with a red leather exterior, double leather handles, distinctive gold-tone metal clasp and black fabric-lined interior. The original “Fashions by Margolin” maker’s label remains attached inside. An especially nice period detail is the vintage TALON metal zipper on the interior pocket. The TALON name is clearly marked on the zipper pull and is shown in the photographs. The interior includes multiple compartments and a zippered pocket. Approximate width is 9 inches. Please refer to the measurement photographs for size and proportions. This is an original vintage pre-owned handbag and shows normal signs of age and previous use. There are surface marks and scuffs to the leather, wear along the handles and edges, and scratches, finish wear and age-related patina to the gold-tone clasp/hardware. The interior also shows normal vintage wear. The clasp and zipper are photographed in detail.
