Vintage Pickett N-515-T Electronic Slide Rule made for the Cleveland Institute of Electronics (CIE), Cleveland, Ohio. This specialized engineering slide rule was designed for electronics-related calculations and features numerous scales, formulas and reference information for electrical and electronic work. Marked: ELECTRONIC MODEL N-515-T and CLEVELAND INSTITUTE OF ELECTRONICS CLEVELAND, OHIO 44114 PATENT NO. 3,120,342 MADE IN U.S.A. The reverse side includes reference formulas and information for Ohm’s Law, AC and DC circuits, frequency and wavelength, reactance, resonance, transformers, power factor, efficiency, coupled inductance and other electronics calculations. Includes the original reddish-brown Pickett / Cleveland Institute of Electronics storage case with gold lettering. The slide rule appears complete based on the photographs, including the sliding center section and transparent cursor/indicator. It has not been professionally tested for accuracy or calibration. Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition with normal signs of age and use. The slide rule has surface wear, marks and age-related discoloration. The original case has more noticeable wear, including scratches, scuffs, edge/corner wear and deterioration. No attempt has been made to restore or aggressively clean the item. Please examine all photographs carefully. Photos are part of the description and show the actual item you will receive. A nice collectible piece of vintage American electronics, engineering and technical-education history.
