Vintage Durham Duplex folding safety/straight razor with original hard storage case. The metal razor holder is clearly marked DURHAM and DUPLEX and features the distinctive comb-style blade holder associated with the Durham Duplex system. Approximately 5 1/2 inches long when folded/in the case, based on the measurement shown in the photos. The razor has a cream-colored folding handle and metal comb-style head. Original tan/cream hard case is included. This is an unrestored vintage piece being sold as found. Metal components show tarnish, oxidation, surface rust and age-related wear. Rust/oxidation is visible inside the comb assembly. Handle and case show staining, discoloration, scratches and other signs of age and storage. The mechanism has not been serviced. Blade/shaving performance has not been tested. Sold as a vintage shaving collectible/display piece rather than represented as shave-ready. Please examine all photographs carefully. Photos are part of the description and show the exact item you will receive.1836
