Size and condition above come from the listing. The description below is the seller’s own text.
Pair of decorative bookends featuring sculpted bulldogs wearing collars, with their front paws resting on raised blocks. The backgrounds and bases have a molded fence and wood-grain design. Cream and beige coloring with darker shading highlights the dogs’ facial features and sculpted details. Each bookend has an attached metal plate designed to extend beneath books. Details Includes two bulldog bookends. Cream/beige finish with brown-toned shading. Sculpted dog, collar, fence, and wood-grain details. Attached metal support plates. Figures appear to be painted plaster or a plaster-based composite; exact material is unknown. Partial foil labels remain, but the manufacturer has not been identified. Exact age and country of manufacture are unknown. Please see ruler photos for approximate size. Condition Details The pair shows visible wear, including scuffs, discoloration, small edge chips, flaking finish, and exposed underlying material. Finish loss is most noticeable on the backs and along the lower edges. The metal plates have substantial surface rust and areas of worn or missing coating. The two pieces have some differences in shading and wear. Please examine the front, back, edge, and metal plate photos carefully. Photos form part of the item description. Colors may vary with lighting and screen settings. You will receive the exact two bookends shown. No books or other display props are included. Each piece will be individually wrapped and cushioned for shipping.1919
