The 2014 Hasbro Gaming Clue Grab & Go Travel Edition Game is a mystery-themed travel game perfect for on-the-go entertainment. With the classic Clue gameplay and updated components, players can enjoy the fun and suspense of solving a murder mystery wherever they are. This portable game is ideal for short trips or vacations, offering a fun and engaging experience for both children and adults alike.This is a compact, portable edition designed for 3 to 6 players ages 8 and up.Game SetupSet the Board: Stick or place the compact board inside the game unit case.Place Tokens: Put all 6 character movers on their matching colored starting squares on the board (even if playing with fewer than 6 people). Place the weapon tokens randomly into different rooms.Hide the Evidence: Separate the cards into 3 decks: Guests, Weapons, and Rooms. Shuffle each deck individually. Take the top card from each pile and place them face down into the center of the board (the Swimming Pool area) without looking. These 3 cards are the solution to the murder.Deal Cards: Shuffle all the remaining cards together and deal them out face down equally among the players. Place any leftover cards face up in the center.Prep Notebooks: Give each player a sheet from the detective notebook. Secretly check your own cards (and any face-up leftover cards) and cross them off your sheet. Since you hold them, they cannot be in the center!How to PlayObjective: Be the first player to correctly deduce which guest committed the crime, with what weapon, and in which room.Movement: Roll the dice on your turn to move your character token horizontally or vertically across the grid (never diagonally). You cannot pass through or land on a square occupied by another player.Secret Passages: If you start your turn in a corner room with a secret passage, you can skip rolling the dice and immediately move your token to the connecting corner room on the opposite side of the board.Making a Suggestion: When you enter a room, you can make a "suggestion" to gather clues. Bring a suspect token and a weapon token into your current room and state: "I suggest it was [Suspect] with the [Weapon] in the [Current Room]".Disproving Suggestions: The player to your left must secretly show you exactly one card from their hand that matches any part of your suggestion. If they don't have one, the responsibility passes clockwise to the next player until someone shows you a card. Once you see a card, cross it off your notebook. Your turn then ends.Winning and AccusationsIf you believe you have figured out the 3 hidden cards, you can make an official Accusation on your turn immediately after making a suggestion. You do not need to be in the room you are accusing.State your final accusation out loud and secretly look at the 3 face-down cards in the swimming pool:If you are correct: Reveal the cards to everyone—you win the game!If you are incorrect: Secretly return the cards face down. You are eliminated from winning and can no longer move or make suggestions, but you must stay in the game to show cards to disprove other players' suggestions.
