Original first-printing Family Dog FD-143 poster advertising Buddy Miles Express, Dino Valenti, and Country Weather at the Avalon Ballroom, San Francisco, October 25–27, 1968.Black-and-white surrealist photography by Jerry N. Uelsmann; design by Wes Wilson. Printed by Tea Lautrec Litho. Copyright 1968 Family Dog Productions.Approximately 14” x 20”.Provenance: Displayed in the Velvet Underground / Sanford’s clothing stores in San Francisco to advertise the shows at the time. Not a later reproduction.Ships carefully protected and rolled.CONDITION:Damage is mostly along the edges and borders: small tears, notches and paper loss, corner wear, and scattered pinholes or small punctures. Old brown tape remnants and adhesive staining are present along the reverse edges. Also shows light creasing, age toning, scattered surface marks, and a handwritten number on the back. The central photographic image remains largely intact. Please review all photos for condition.
