This is a very nice vintage wall-mounted spice rack featuring a wooden holder for the six ceramic containers. They are a beige color with hand-painted fruit motifs that area raised up for use as a knob-like accents. The six containers are labeled "Spice," "Pepper," "Clove," "Salt," "Nutmeg," and "Ginger." The rack has a scalloped top edge with two pre-drilled holes for mounting and displaying on a kitchen wall offering a wonderful farmhouse, country, cottage or rustic styled piece of decor. The set shows signs of age, including visible crazing on the ceramic surfaces and minor wear on the wooden frame. Please review photos carefully for overall cosmetic condition. The set is listed as unbranded but is very similar to those that were imported from Japan, Taiwan, Korea and China under the brand names of Lefton, Napco and Otagiri in the 1960s and 70s. Most likely it is one of the many made by the many small American giftware companies that began producing these due to the popularity of the imported ones.
