Boxwood Turbo Grow is a granular 13-3-13 fertilizer made only for boxwood. It's the same blend Topbuxus uses in its own Dutch nursery. If your hedges, borders, or topiary look pale, thin, or tired, it gives them what they need to fill in and hold a rich green color all season. Most all purpose fertilizers are built for flowers and vegetables. This one is built around what boxwood actually uses: nitrogen and potash, plus magnesium and sulfur, the two nutrients most closely tied to leaf color. It starts releasing nutrients as soon as you water it in, so your shrubs get fed when they're actively growing. Will it rescue shrubs that have already faded? If they're underfed, yes. Feeding on schedule helps boxwood regain its color and push dense new growth. It won't cure blight or pests, so rule those out first. What you get One 1 lb tub that covers 100 square feet per feeding Nitrogen in two forms, for a quick green up and steady feeding 2.5% magnesium, 9% sulfur, and 2% calcium for stronger color An easy schedule: scatter on the soil in mid April, mid June, and mid August A sealed lid that keeps it dry between feedings (wear gloves when handling) Why buy now: Late fall is when boxwood does its underground work, building the roots that carry it through winter and into a thick green spring. The 1 lb size is backordered on the brand's own site. This one ships today, just in time for your fall feeding.
