This skirt is from the KENZO x H&M collection, the Swedish retailer's 2016 designer collaboration, which launched in stores and online on November 3, 2016. Kenzo's then-creative directors Humberto Leon and Carol Lim designed the line, reinterpreting bold prints from the house's founder, Kenzo Takada, across womenswear, menswear, and accessories. The collection was known for its saturated animal prints, vivid florals, and playful, pattern-heavy pieces, and it sold out quickly like H&M's earlier collaborations with Balmain and Alexander Wang. As a limited-edition collaboration that is no longer in production, these pieces are collected on the secondhand market.
