Item Overview Up for sale is an authentic vintage Bally top-handle handbag featuring a classic diamond-quilted pattern and gold-tone hardware accents. This bag was selected for restoration because of its exceptional structural integrity and the high-grade quality of the original leather. Originally a heavily discolored beige, it has been given a second life with a beautiful, deep midnight navy blue finish. --- The Restoration Story & Rationale The original beige leather was remarkably supple, high-quality leather, and the interior remained in good condition with an exceptionally soft feel. However, the exterior suffered from severe surface discoloration that could not be reversed by standard cleaning, alongside structural creasing on the bottom base. Recognizing that it would be a tragic waste to discard such a beautifully crafted, authentic luxury piece over surface cosmetics, it was meticulously repaired and refinished. --- Detailed Condition Report Exterior:** The exterior leather has been thoroughly prepped, color-restored, and sealed in a deep navy colorway using professional leather products. The diamond quilting remains soft and intact, boasting a clean satin sheen. Bottom / Base:** The base previously suffered from heavy creasing and texture distortion. It has been structurally stabilized, smoothed, and refinished. While it is now entirely clean, solid, and durable, please note that the texture on the bottom is not completely factory-smooth and reflects its vintage restoration journey under close inspection. Interior & Hardware:** The interior remains in good, clean condition with beautifully soft lining.
