Disclaimer: This item is a molded plastic Breyer horse model. I am not an expert, and my description is based on my research and observations. It is possible I may have made mistakes, so please carefully review the photos for the most accurate condition and details. This listing is for a vintage Breyer Classic “Black Beauty” horse, Model #3040BB. It features a solid black body with a right-front white sock, and carries the Breyer Molding Co. round stamp on the inner leg (see photo). The model measures approximately 7 inches tall and 9 inches long, placing it in the Classic scale (smaller than Traditional size but larger than Stablemates). Sculpted by Chris Hess, the Classic Black Beauty was first introduced in the early 1980s and is a long-running collector favorite. Condition: Some light wear from age and handling is visible on close inspection, but it displays beautifully. Please review the pictures as they are part of the description. This is a great addition to any Breyer or Black Beauty collection.
