This is a Vintage RIDGID 14" Heavy Duty Straight Pipe Wrench, a classic American-made workhorse from The Ridge Tool Co. in Elyria, Ohio. These vintage models are highly prized for their superior casting and durability compared to modern counterparts. This wrench features the traditional red cast-iron housing and a forged steel hook jaw. The teeth are in good shape with plenty of "bite" left for heavy plumbing or mechanical work. I have serviced the adjustment nut with WD-40, so it spins freely and adjusts smoothly.
