Up for sale is an authentic, vintage 1982 Masters of the Universe Mer-Man sword accessory. This item came directly out of a large original childhood lot of 1980s-dated MOTU figures. Condition & Variant Details: Color Note: This sword features the authentic dark olive-tan / dark mustard plastic tone. This deep, earthy, swampy tone is unique to the earliest 1982 Taiwan production batches and is not the bright neon yellow seen on later common re-issues. Authenticity Stamps: Features the original "TAIWAN" country of origin text stamp and factory mold batch number. Please note that due to vintage factory molding and age, these markings are somewhat faint and can be hard to read, but they are present. Structure: The plastic has the correct, semi-rigid "flexible but hard" density unique to vintage Mattel toys. The iconic handguard loop is completely intact and unbroken. Cosmetics: Shows normal signs of light vintage wear and age from being stored with other toys, but is free from major cuts, chew marks, or severe stress marks. Perfect for completing a loose vintage "Green Belt" or standard Mer-Man figure, or for upgrading a missing piece in your 80s He-Man collection! Please look closely at the photos to verify the exact condition and color tone before purchasing. Weapon will be packaged securely in a box to ensure it arrives safely.
