It is hand carved and painted, featuring a classic design with decorative harness and saddle. The horse has a mane and tail made of what appears to be real horsehair. The piece is mounted on a wooden stand with a wood pole painted a brass color. It shows signs of wear consistent with its age, including minor paint loss and scuffs on the wood.
