This is a heavy-duty Vintage Sears Craftsman Metal Toolbox in a classic industrial gray finish. It features the iconic red and silver "Sears Craftsman" logo on the front. Built with the rugged durability of mid-century steel, this large toolbox is designed for serious storage and built to last. The box comes complete with its original removable inner tote tray, which is the matching original gray color. Condition Details: Hardware: The dual metal clasps and center latch work perfectly and pull the lid shut tight. The bottom half of the center latch assembly (the part attached to the box) is a bit loose, but it does not affect the function—it still cinches down and locks perfectly. Rust & Patina: There is visible surface rust on the exterior and interior, particularly around the latches and lower corners, giving it a great authentic vintage look. Interior: There is some persistent residue or "gunk" on the inner wall that could not be removed, along with typical wear and staining from years of tool storage. Structural: The box has some dents and scuffs consistent with its vintage age and heavy-duty use. Note: The inner tray may shift and make noise during transit, but the unit will be packed firmly for safe delivery.
