Up for sale is a vintage multi-purpose garden digger knife/trowel, measuring approximately 11 inches long. This rugged hand tool features a thick, wide steel blade designed for slicing through roots, digging up weeds, and clearing soil. One edge is fully serrated to tackle tough roots and dense ground, while the opposite side is a standard smooth edge. It tapers to a pointed, spear-style tip perfect for puncturing hard dirt. With its heavy patina, rich surface rust, and weathered red wooden handle, this piece has an incredible primitive look. Beyond its practical use as a gardening or metal-detecting recovery tool, it serves as a fantastic piece of rustic farmhouse decor. It would look right at home displayed in a potting shed, hanging in a barn, or added to a collection of antique agricultural tools. It features a full-tang construction with two wooden handle scales painted red and secured by two heavy-duty pins.
