Antique Seth Thomas mechanical mantel clock with a heavy black slate/stone case, red marble inlays, gilt decorative detailing, Roman numeral dial, and visible open escapement.<br/><br/>The Seth Thomas movement is marked S. Thomas, Thomaston, Conn., U.S.A. Includes the clock, pendulum, and gong components shown in the photos. No winding key is included unless otherwise shown.<br/><br/>Mechanical operation, timekeeping accuracy, and strike function have not been verified. The clock has substantial age-related wear and significant chips, breaks, and material loss to the rear portion of the stone case around the movement opening, along with additional edge wear, scratches, patina, and dial discoloration.<br/><br/>Please examine all photos carefully for condition, completeness, and the extent of the case damage.
