JVC GR-SXM240U Super VHS-C/VHS-C camcorder offered as a repair or parts lot. It powers on and the flip-out LCD shows error E04: "REMOVE AND REATTACH BATTERY." This is a safeguard warning, not a confirmed diagnosis of a bad battery. Recording, playback, tape transport, zoom, audio and video light have not been verified. Factory features include 16x optical zoom, 600x digital zoom, a 2.5-inch LCD, Super VHS ET, picture stabilization and digital TBC/CNR. These are model specifications, not tested functions. Includes the camcorder with attached battery, lens cap and hand strap; Case Logic carrying bag with shoulder strap; pictured power adapter (model/compatibility unverified); two boxed Maxell HGX-Gold TC-30 VHS-C tapes; and a packaged Sima VHS-C head cleaner. The loose bottle of cleaning fluid shown is NOT included. Shows age-related wear and surface marks. Sold strictly FOR PARTS OR REPAIR, not as a working camcorder. Please review all photos, especially the E04 screen.
