Item Description Manufacturer: American Doll Company Markings: Marked "AM. DOLL CO." on the back of the composition shoulder plate. Estimated Era: 1910s–1920s Materials: Composition shoulder head and hands; stuffed cloth/muslin body and upper limbs; sewn-on black fabric lower legs/boots. Features: Molded and painted ginger/orange hair, painted blue eyes, rosy cheeks, and painted red lips. Clothing: Includes a cream-colored cotton dress with a layered skirt, matching waist sash, and lace trim along the collar and sleeves.Condition Report Head & Hands: Visible crazing (hairline surface cracking) is present across the entire composition head, face, and molded hair. There are minor paint scuffs on the hair, but the facial features remain clear and distinct. The composition hands show minor age wear but are intact. Body: The cloth body is securely attached to the shoulder plate. It shows normal age-related discoloration and shelf wear, but has no major rips, open seams, or leaking stuffing.
