Vintage SyrocoWood Nautical Ship Bookends - Mid Century Faux Wood Library DecorAdd a classic maritime touch to your office, library, or bookshelf with this handsome pair of vintage SyrocoWood nautical ship bookends. Crafted by the Syracuse Ornamental Company (Syroco), these bookends feature a detailed depiction of a classic sailing vessel riding the ocean waves, complete with a rope-and-pier themed base. Made from Syroco's iconic molded wood composite material, they offer the rich, heavy look of hand-carved wood with a beautiful antiqued patina. The original partial "SyrocoWood" paper label is still present on the reverse side.Condition: Good vintage condition with light wear consistent with age. The metal base plates show some light surface rust and scuffing from use, which adds to their authentic retro charm and will be hidden under your books.
