<p><b>This was and art installation called 1,095: One Year's Worth of Other People's Plates by artist Bari Ziperstein, presented by Fallen Fruit at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) on November 7, 2010</b></p><br /><p><b>• Artist: Bari Ziperstein</b></p><p><b>• Project / Exhibition: Fallen Fruit Presents Let Them Eat LACMA at LACMA on November 7, 2010</b></p><p><b>• Concept: A temporary, interactive three-dimensional installation featuring 1,095 plates arranged in a mandala shape, representing one year’s worth of meals (3 meals a day × 365 days = 1,095 plates).</b></p><p><b>• Details: The plates were collected via social networking, redistributed to donors, and eventually returned to everyday domestic use, making each plate a numbered piece from a total edition of 1,095. These specific piece are marked as No. 1227 and 1229 of 1,095 (or part of the conceptual series documenting the project).</b></p><br />
