To the left is Belize's national animal, the magnificent Jaguar — depicted climbing a tree in its natural rainforest habitat. The Belize coat of arms rests at the lower center. This is the first year of issue for this iconic design series, making it particularly desirable to collectors. Reverse (Back) A stunning composite showcasing the rich biodiversity of Belize featuring native wildlife including the Tapir, Howler Monkey, Manatee, Crocodile, and various birds in their natural habitats. The bordered panel highlights the incredible variety of Belizean fauna making this one of the most visually striking notes in the entire Central Bank series.
