Vintage 90s Sesame Street "Tickle Me Elmo" Deluxe Child Costume Brand: Disguise, Inc. Year: 1997 / 1998 Size: Toddler Size 2-4 Includes: Fuzzy plush bodysuit jumpsuit, character plush hood/hat, functional "Tickle Me" electronic sound belt, and the original Lillian Vernon catalog invoice/mailer bag. Condition Report (Please Read Before Buying) Sound Belt: Fully tested and functional! The electronic belt giggles and says "Elmo tickles!" clearly when pressed. Bodysuit: The main red furry jumpsuit is in good vintage condition with working back closures. Headpiece / Hat Damage: The character hood has a notable condition issue along the lower internal face opening. The vintage interior foam backing/lining along the forehead rim has deteriorated and dry-rotted over time, causing it to crumble and leave a raw, open mesh edge. It appears a previous owner trimmed the edge of the lining to prevent it from hanging too low on a child's forehead. Please note that loose red foam flaking will occur inside the hood due to the aging material. Overall: Exterior presents excellently for display, nostalgia, or photo shoots. Selling strictly As-Is due to the internal headpiece foam degradation. Please review all photos carefully as they are considered part of the description.
