This artisanal piece originates from the Oaxaca region and is beautifully preserved.Fabric & Craftsmanship:The garment is constructed from a breathable, unbleached cotton muslin fabric with a rustic, "almost linen" slub texture indicative of traditional hand-looming. It features vibrant geometric yarn embroidery framing the square neckline and sleeve cuffs.The heavy, textured fringe layers at the chest and bottom hem are exceptionally unique; they are integrated "self-fringes" masterfully crafted by pulling and knotting the fabric's own structural warp threads rather than sewing on a commercial trim.Includes: • 1x Fringe Tunic Dress with a vintage red plastic button closure at the neck slit.• 1x Matching woven geometric fabric headband to complete the coordinated folk look.Condition:Excellent vintage condition with minimal signs of wear. There is one very minor, faint stain left arm cuff and two small faint fabric discolorations on the front right down by the hem and right chest. See photos but they are very hard to see.
