Co.Date: 1942Excellent used condition for its age!Up for sale is a genuine World War II U.S. military double magazine pouch for the Colt M1911 / M1911A1 .45 ACP pistol. This early-war example was manufactured in 1942 by Hoff Mfg. Co. and is clearly marked on the reverse: “1942 HOFF MFG.CO.”Features:• Khaki/olive drab canvas construction with two separate pockets designed to hold two 7-round .45 ACP magazines• Original black metal “lift-the-dot” snap closure on the flap (functions smoothly)• Metal grommet at the bottom for drainage• Belt loop / wire hook on the reverse for attachment to a pistol belt (M1936 or similar web gear)• Faint U.S. inspector stamp visible on the flap (appears as “S*D” or similar)This pouch is a classic piece of U.S. WWII web gear, issued to officers, NCOs, and troops carrying the M1911A1 sidearm. It pairs perfectly with other 1942-dated khaki web equipment.
