King Super 20 Symphony SilverSonic Bb trumpet, made by The H.N. White Co of Cleveland, Ohio. The SilverSonic was the top of King's professional line and its signature is a sterling silver bell over a brass valve body, with mother of pearl valve buttons. The bell is engraved KING / Super 20 / Symphony / SilverSonic / MADE BY THE H.N. WHITE CO / CLEVELAND OHIO. Serial 361996 on the valve casing dates it to the late 1950s, H.N. White era Cleveland production, well before the company was sold in 1965.Included: the original King croc-pattern case with the H.N. White badge, two mouthpieces, an aluminum straight mute and an aluminum cup mute, a lyre, valve oil, and a period cornet solo book.Condition: in working order. Cosmetically it shows its age honestly, with light scratching and swirl marks in the bell finish from polishing and handling. The case has significant wear, with the covering torn away at two corners exposing the substrate underneath. The photographs show all of this.Ships insured, with signature required on delivery.
