Up for sale is an authentic, highly collectible post-WWII mid-1950s original "The Mitchell" spinning reel body paired with its matching vintage original Mitchell plastic spool storage container case. This is a true, pure Mitchell early production model—it is NOT a common mass-market Garcia version and features absolutely NO "300" model numbers stamped anywhere on the frame. It displays only the classic stylized script "Mitchell" logo on the side plate and the small, clean, early-style "MADE IN FRANCE" stamp on the lower body casing. **What Is Included:** 1. **Original Mitchell No-Number Body:** Main housing assembly, original script side plate, rotor cup, and full bail mechanism. 2. **Original Mitchell Spool Case:** Authentic vintage hard-plastic storage container with its original dark lid. **Condition Details:** * **Originality:** Every single component present on this body is 100% original to the reel as it left the factory in France. * **Missing Element:** The ONLY part missing from this entire setup is the spinning handle assembly.
