Some old belt/film debris may still be in some invisible, hard to find crevices. Volume gauge responds to microphone input. Original microphone included. Focus ring is smooth. Lamp is strong. Reverse/rewind functionality works. Comes with original box; will be double-boxed so as not to depend on vintage packaging during shipping. I purchased a film from eBay to test functionality, and, unfortunately, the film had degraded from age, and had distorted image/audio during testing. But speakers and gears all engaged. I am confident a well-preserved super 8mm film can be played in full glory on this machine.</div>
