Rare authentic vintage 1950s "Hit Em Hard" Sanforized cotton twill mechanics work shirt. Truly incredible piece of mid-century Americana hot rod car club history. Features a striking, heavy white chainstitch embroidery display across the entire back reading "Modifiers Alley Oop Danbury, Conn." in flawless cursive script. Front chest panels are detailed with twin button-flap pockets and a matching chainstitched name script reading "Jim." Good vintage condition with strong fabric and bold color, displaying a minor frayed hole on the edge of the right cuff pointed out in the photos.
