This is artist Tom Clarke's statue of "The Aviator". The figure is 12.5" tall and stands on a base that is 6.25" in diameter. The figure weighs 2 pounds 14 ounces. It is in excellent condition and has no nicks, scratches or chips. "The Aviator" depicts an older man; he gazes skyward as if recalling his days as a pilot. He wears a leather bomber jacket, khaki pants and knee-high boots; he carries his hat with goggles in his left hand. The strap of his green carry-on bag is held in his right hand. At his feet are a black duffle bag and a small brown bag, possibly with his personal items; the duffle bag tag indicates he is a captain in the US Naval reserve. Other than the luggage the figure's base is decorated with only a few scattered leaves. The base is inscribed "The Aviator", "1984", the copyright symbol, "T. Clarke" and the number "67".Stored in a smoke-free, climate-controlled home. Shipment is by US Postal Service Priority mail.
