From Wm. Rogers Manufacturing Co., this is a collection of 37 teaspoons depicting US Presidents from George Washington to Gerald Ford. Each spoon is silver-plated and about 5.5 cm (6.4 inches) in length; weight of one spoon is 1 ounce. There are no duplicates. Each spoon has a picture of a President, his name and his presidential number on the handle. The bowl of the spoon has an image of an event associated with a President. For example, the bowl of Richard Nixon's spoon shows a globe, the phrase "Russia, China and USA" and the word "Detente" across the top. The spoon for Zachary Taylor shows a battle scene and the phrase "Hero of the Battle of Buena Vista".Spoons are enclosed in a dark blue, molded plastic case which has a blue, velour-like coating on the spoon holders. Each side of the case has its original clear plastic cover (2 covers) which protects the spoons and holds them in place. The plastic covers have some superficial abrasions which make the covers not completely clear. The case closes with a tab that has a button snap.Measurements of the packaging for this spoon set are as follows: when open, the molded plastic case measures 30 inches across by 16.25 inches wide; it is about 1.25 inches high. When the case is closed, it measures 14 inches x 16.25 inches x 2.25 inches. Weight of the box including the 37 spoons is 4 pounds 11 ounces.Shipment is by US Postal Service Ground Advantage.
