A vintage softcover pattern booklet from Nomotta/Amicale Yarns Inc. with a copyright date of 1955; it includes traditional and modern afghan patterns for knitting or crocheting. The booklet measures 8.75 inches x 11.75 inches with a weight of 4.2 ounces. The booklet has 30 pages (excluding cover pages) with 13 patterns, including 4 knitting patterns (Modern Art; Candlelight; Seascape; Squares & Stripes) and 9 crochet patterns (Town & Country; Fireside; Yankee Clipper; Heirloom; Colonial Garden; American Beauty; Hope Chest; Hopscotch; Homespun). Front and back covers are printed in color; inside pages are a mix of color and black and white photos of the afghans included. The booklet has damage to front and back covers: the front cover is missing part of the lower left corner and areas of the spine (see photo). There cover has a blue ink scribble on lower left. Back cover has a half-inch, irregularly shaped hole. Inside pages with patterns and photos of finished afghans are in good, complete and readable condition. Shipment is by US Postal Service Ground Advantage mail.
