Up for sale is the highly collectible 1975 Annual Christmas Cross by legendary American silversmith Reed & Barton. This beautiful piece represents the 5th edition in their long-running annual cross series. It features a stunning, deeply textured design on the front. The top includes a built-in loop, allowing it to be hung as a Christmas tree ornament or worn as a bold statement pendant necklace. Item Details:Hallmarks: Fully stamped on the reverse: “© 1975 Christmas Cross REED & BARTON STERLING” alongside the official Reed & Barton eagle, R, and lion maker's marks.Measurements: Stands just over 2.75 inches tall and stretches roughly 2.6 inches wide.Included Accessories: Includes its authentic, original red flannel protective storage bag with crisp white lettering.Condition:The ornament is in excellent vintage structural condition with sharp, crisp details and no heavy deep scratches or dents. The reverse shows a natural, authentic dark silver patina and tarnish along the edges and recessed areas from decades of safe storage in its pouch. The original red bag is clean with bright lettering. We have chosen to leave this original patina intact for collectors who prefer vintage character, but it will easily polish up to a bright mirror shine if desired.
