A classic Irish Aran cardigan, hand-knit from 100% pure wool in the Republic of Ireland. Features a deep V-neck, 4 dark buttons, two patch pockets, and beautiful mixed cable and honeycomb stitch patterns throughout.This is the real thing — an authentic hand-knit Irish garment, not a machine-made reproduction. The label reads "An Irish Traditional Hand Knit Garment / 100% Pure Wool / Made in the Republic of Ireland," a style of labeling used on genuine cottage-industry knitwear from the 1960s through 1980s. Wool this age has a weight and warmth you simply can't replicate with modern blends.Condition is good with light wear. There are 2 small stains visible in the photos that may respond to gentle treatment, and one small snag in the yarn also shown in photos. No missing buttons, no moth holes.A versatile, timeless piece — works as outerwear, a layering piece, or a statement cardigan.
