Four stunning vintage Art Deco buttons on their original card with a green decorative scallop border. These are unlike anything you see every day. Each button is a warm tan/brown with a channel down the center filled with a tightly wound green coiled wire spring detail. Shank backs with the original thread still attached.The craftsmanship here is exceptional. The coil wire is firmly set into each button's channel and the overall effect is both industrial and elegant. The card itself has a period-appropriate green chain-link border pattern.Card shows age wear with softened edges and some creasing. Two of the top buttons have slightly loosened from the card but are undamaged. One button is not on attached to the card. The bottom two sit perfectly. All 4 buttons are in very good condition.This is the kind of find that stops you in your tracks at an estate sale.
